Privacy Policy
TinyOwl is designed as a local-first desktop app. This policy explains what stays on your Mac, when network access may happen, and how to contact us.
Local-first processing
Image compression, resize, and save workflows run on your Mac. Your original images do not need to be uploaded to TinyOwl for local compression. App settings, presets, workflows, and license state are stored locally on your device unless a feature explicitly requires network access.
Optional uploads
If you configure an upload provider, TinyOwl sends the compressed output files to the storage target you choose, such as Cloudflare R2, S3, OSS, COS, MinIO, or another S3-compatible service. Upload behavior depends on the provider settings you enter and the workflow you run.
License and trial data
TinyOwl may use license, activation, trial, device, and purchase-related information only as needed to provide the trial, validate a license, prevent abuse, handle support, or process refunds. Payment processing may be handled by a payment provider, and TinyOwl does not need access to your local image originals for license validation.
